Set across over three acres of open land, our setting provides endless opportunities for exploration, freedom and sensory play in nature. The space invites children to leave the distractions of fast-paced life behind and step into a calm environment filled with trees, wildlife and natural play features.

Outdoor Spaces Designed for Play and Curiosity

Our outdoor environment is much more than a garden. It is a place for real childhood adventure and creative exploration. Children can climb aboard our large full-size ship, take part in outdoor cooking at the BBQ shelter and cooking lodge, or dig and learn in the extensive mud kitchens. Within the orchard and veggie patch, they help plant, tend and harvest their own food, connecting with nature in a hands-on way.

Playing outside supports physical coordination and confidence, while also building resilience and risk awareness. Our woodland paths, natural features and wildlife visitors give children valuable experiences that develop curiosity and independence. With all of this space, children are free to let their imaginations grow and flourish each day.

Forest School Learning in Every Season

Forest School learning is central to life here at Honeybees. It blends child-led discovery with structured learning in a beautiful outdoor setting. By engaging with the elements, investigating natural materials or making discoveries in the orchard, children build emotional confidence and practical skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
